Kongde Ice

Sometimes brittle, other times fractured ice conditions, combined with winds of up to 50mph forced Pete and I to modify plans frequently during this last stint of climbing. Ultimately we ascended two, likely untouched ice routes from our camp below Kongde. We're now in Lukla, stewing in some unappeasing smells and a ubiquitous layer of grime as we await our flight back to Kathmandu -- and a couple luke-warm showers! From there we head to Pokhara for some aerial-inclined adventures :)
